Motivation is like a firework. It goes off, is beautiful, inspiring, powerful and then is quickly gone. Its also like a bath in that it washes you clean. All of these things are fleeting and must be rechecked and redone daily. There is always a risk to being a stray cat and a blessing. To keep one’s mind from going crazy, you have to lose it occasionally. Staying in the same place is unhealthy and built upon ignorance. Accept what is affecting one’s consciousness. Look at it all, stare at it, examine it. Then decide where you stand and what you can learn from it. This process is more important than anything else done because it is the base mindset for all action that mind is connected to. So remember to wash yourself clean but do not run or blind one’s self. Be in the mental state one would want to be in but do not be in it by disregarding the ripple effects one has put in place. Bathing, running, protecting, and building are all different things. The sad thing is that most people fully aware of their thoughts are extremely egocentric and unrealistic with the motivations and quality of their thoughts so they more often run and hide from thoughts they don’t like by either dismissing or incorrectly naming them. Repeated problems by a traveling mind mean that the traveler is creating them. Cleanse your mind, find motivation, do not run from things but be aware of what is in your consciousness.
