Life is. The amount of love and anger, the sizable and seemingly incalculable worth behind a dream or an outburst are all as great as we let it be. There are people with depression, schizophrenia, mood disorders and Im not trying to discount or blame them; that doesn’t play here. You can hold in your mind the smallest bit of nothing and decide to fall in love with it. Feel the way your heart stands and tell it to go faster, because the greatest thing ever is on its way. Notice the way your skin feels. That lack of a tingle and the hairs not on end. Tell them to wise up and remember what that feels like. Imagine the most amazing thing you can in the world. Let yourself feel that, pretend it was right here and now. That joy, enthusiasm, that wonder. Look at all those emotions you are allowing yourself to feel. Let the greatest thing really come into mind fully enough to bask in it and stare at these emotions. Now tell them there is something bigger. The final step is to assign it, to whatever you want. Hell, it could be driving to the gas station in the morning.

The whole idea behind this is belief. Something is as big as you belief it to be. God is a ridiculous concept when examined, but the majority of the planet believes in some similar such concept. We can believe that our feet are candy and our hair is full of wolverines. Both important and relevant is the strength, range, and dynamic of belief to know when tuning in to the fact that things are as important as we want them to be.

A weird hobby of mine has turned from exploring this idea and the manipulation of one’s own emotions . I have come to call it emotional alchemy, it is the process of putting emotions where I want them and reforming them as desired. To take something very scary to yourself and make it tiny, one would put the emotion of something tiny into that scary thing. First, feel out something not scary, not important. A fun feat I like to use is Ching. Ching is a little asian boy who doesn’t care about you, whom you don’t know about and lives in Thailand  picking rice. Imagine how you feel about him. Remember that I might have just made him up, but how truly insignificant you two are to each other. Feel that, now put this feeling into what scares you. Don’t place it, but reassign the scary thing. When the scary thing is thought about and its normal emotional sets come up, place Ching there.

Things are as a big a deal as you make it. Create your own heaven and hell, be the greatest.  Please be quick about it,the world needs you.
