often the most beautiful of art is the one which we don’t expect because we do not yet know it. A brilliant woman once told me that it is not art unless it advances the art. A big purple dragon told me, when I was sitting in the midst of seven different catastrophes with no way out, “Yeah, you love it, baby”. The dragons point was that all this new and scary meaning was not more than I could handle but that I didn’t realize it was the most incredible thing I could have seen at that moment. Life is a story and a story with no problems never gets picked off the shelves, talked about, or held in the mind. Its white noise, the phrase,”happily ever after” the ending to a story. The beauty is the dance around the flames and the fire that burns holes in your face then you go to the library of congress, summon a genie and wish your face back but anger the ghosts of dead presidents and through a phone call looking for help some mobsters think you have a bunch of money so they kidnap you and force you to help them with their heist, despite all your logical defense being curtailed as ,”escape attempts”. And that’s terrifying!! But it is also fucking beautiful.

Step outside of the emotion of panic. Acknowledge the pain and danger but then let it not take up your entire focus and see the detail in the picture of which you’re now possibly drowning in. Its easy to enjoy and magnificent to behold. It is not what you planned, which makes it better! It is not what you wanted, because you can’t and don’t know everything out there! There may not be time, for your old plans! The real world is about change. And to fall in love with the world means loving that ever fleeting mistress of change.

The most heart-pounding and painful stories are often the most beautiful… so even if you’re lost in one, remember that it is in fact that fucking incredible to experience. This is magnificent, thought Dr Strangelove to himself as the bomb was about to crash. He was right and he could have been terrified and right but he was in awe and ecstatic glee and he was right.
