The Beauty Is In The Attempt

I still shed a tear for you every now & then

cause the memories of you i still resent.

But a voice echoes in my head saying,

“The Beauty is in the Attempt”

like it was a message that God sent.

So if pain is the enemy then time is a friend.

Cause we gotta go through the hurt like a warrior

to smile like a survivor at the end.
